                         Cut to May 12th, 1959, where a young Dr. Osterman is the new kid on the block at Gila Flats. With his doctorate in Physics from Princeton, Jon’s kind of a big deal, and Wally Weaver shows him the time-lock test vault. Wally Weaver shows the time-lock test vault and they look at it and Wally notices something weird about him. Here we go now that Rorschach (a.k.a. Walter J. Kovacs) has been captured, we need a different journal to give us insight into his mind. Now it’s evening again on Oct. 25th, 1985, as Dr. Long works the Kovacs case from home. He has learned that young Walt was an exceptionally bright boy who showed no emotion at his mother’s murder in 1956. “Once a man has seen, he can never turn his back on it.    Our story begins in October 12th, 1985  when the famous and known superhero the comedian dies.Several stories above, two detectives investigate the murder of Edward Blake, a grizzly old diplomat who’d been thrown to his death. Teleported by Jon (Dr. Manhattan) to SoCal’s Nepenthe Gardens Rest Resort, Laurie catches up with her mom while Jon, Adrian Veidt, and Dan Dreiberg attend Edward Blake’s funeral in New York. Outside the cemetery gates, the redheaded, sign-holding doomsayer stands watch. Who ever could this person be? “You’re young, you don’t know. Things change. What happened, happened forty years ago. It’s history” (II.1.8).  This is a quote said by Dr. Manhattan explaining Blake and its last words so he would retire. That was the last thing someone ever told Blake before he died. Peopleare getting killed alot in New York and the Watchemn need to do something about it. Next chapter I expect more action and more and more explenations about Blake and what he was kille
